POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 24-year-old Ballarat man was knocked out and suffered a broken jaw in an assault outside the Gravy Spot in Lydiard Street North 3am Sunday.
Ballarat Criminal Investigative Unit Detective Senior Constable Steve Murphy said the man, who had been in hospital, reported the incident to police yesterday.
“He’s been assaulted from behind and knocked out,” Senior Constable Murphy said.
