Using crepe paper, glue and red cardboard, she designed a kite with one purpose in mind.
“The kids and the adults need help so I hope it’ll make them smile and make them happy,” she said.
The Year 5 and 6 pupils were participating in a Coles fundraising campaign for the Red Kite Foundation, a charity supporting children and young people with cancer.
The finished kites are to be displayed in-store at Coles Wendouree.
