EAST Ballarat skipper Tom Brand scored his second-ever Ballarat Cricket Association club firsts century as the Hawks belted finals contenders Napoleons-Sebastopol all over the park this afternoon.
Brand made 102 as his side reached 7-330 on day one of the two-day clash at East Secondary College.
He was well supported by Blake Thomson (78) and Michael Gaylor (41).
Naps-Sebas' woes were compounded by the injury to quick Matt Ringin, who bowled just two overs for the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Wendouree fought back from early trouble to reach a massive first innings total of 9-401 against North Ballarat at Northern Oval 2, a knock of 86 from Brian Wheelahan helped Darley make 212 against Mt Clear at University of Ballarat, Brown Hill is 3-94 in reply to Coronet City's 195 at Ballarat Grammar 2 and Golden Point finished on 8-224 against Ballarat-Redan at Eastern Oval.
