BALLARAT schools are one step closer to finding out the 2013 Head of the Lake champions.
School first crews drew their lanes last night at Ballarat High School for the prestigious Ballarat Associated Schools event, to be held at Lake Wendouree on March 4.
In the senior boys, Ballarat Clarendon College drew lane one, St Patrick’s College drew lane two, Ballarat High School drew lane four and Ballarat Grammar three.
The senior girls draw had Ballarat High School draw lane four, Loreto College draw lane three, Clarendon one and Grammar two.
The Head of the Lake regatta returned to Lake Wendouree last year for the first time since 2003, for the prestigious regatta’s centenary.
