FORMER Ballarat jockey Michelle Payne is under investigation from Racing Victoria stewards for alleged bets placed on international race meetings.

Payne, who has recently returned to race riding after a serious fall, is one of three licensed hoops under the microscope.
Stewards have asked Payne, Michael Walker and Anthony Darmanin to attend inquiries next Tuesday.
The trio is to be questioned regarding bets placed on races, but not on individual races in which they were riding in.
Payne's alleged bets are as follows:
22 May 2011 - $200 double
· Presvis - Singapore International Cup, Kranji (Singapore) - Win/Place
· So You Think - Tattersalls Gold Cup, Curragh (Ireland) - Win
22 May 2011 - $200 multi win bet
· Presvis - Singapore International Cup, Kranji (Singapore)

22 May 2011 - $50 multi win bet
