MORE than a dozen police have converged at a Gillies Street property this afternoon.
The Courier understands an incident occurred shortly after 2pm, with members of Ballarat Police's Criminal Investigation Unit and uniformed members speaking to people in the front yard of the home.
Several police are wearing protective vests, with neighbours in the street also being doorknocked.
