AN estimated 40 employees of the Ballarat branch of The Laminex Group are on strike outside the company's Wendouree factory this afternoon.
A picket line is set up outside the Trewin Street factory where workers are presently gathered.
Representatives from the Electrical Trades Union and Construction, Forestry Mining and Engineering Union are on site and have declined to comment with a vote presently underway.
The Laminex Group is a marketer, distributor and manufacturer of premium decorative home surfaces in Australia and New Zealand.
