Re cyclists and cars, while I have sympathy for Mr Templeton re his accident, and hope he doesn't have any lasting injuries, I would like to point out a few instances over the past couple of weeks.
A week ago a group of riders flew out of Rowe Street, into Humffray Street - didn't give way or even look like stopping for cars that had right of way.
Same scenario different day (Saturday four weeks ago) - large group of riders flying down Eureka Street straight through roundabout at Main Road once again with total disregard for me, who was already at intersection and was on their right.
Also I am amazed at how many of the riders do not use the bike turning lanes that have been provided for them, which I guess cost the ratepayers considerable cost.
So am I right in thinking that, if you don't pay registration, you don't have to follow road laws?
