Ethan donated his organs after he was killed in a train accident in 2011.
Mr Seccull, a passionate champion for the cause, yesterday opened the Gift of Life’s annual Donate Life Walk in Canberra.
He rode his motorcycle to the national capital from Wallace, stopping at towns along the way to spread the Donate Life message.
Mr Seccull said the first annual Jimmy’s Journey aimed to honour everybody touched by organ donation in some way.
“The ride went sensational and generated a lot of interest on the way up,” Mr Seccull told The Courier.
More than 3000 Canberrans attended Gift of Life’s annual Donate Life Walk – the largest attendance in the event’s seven-year history.
