Created by former Melbourne Vixens player Sarah Wall, the sister of Towners coach Leesa Battistello, Net Fit is billed as a high-energy, 45-minute netball training class that combines explosive aerobic movements with strength and power exercises.
The whole program is choreographed to music.
“It’s like going to the YMCA and doing a pump or cycle class but it’s specific to netball skills,” Battistello said.
Sebastopol netballers will be put through their paces from 7.15pm-8pm tonight, before the Dunnstown girls hit the gym between 8.15pm and 9pm. Both classes are being held at Integrity Group Fitness, in Sturt Street, Ballarat.
