BCA semi finals all sorted

WENDOUREE will take on Mt Clear and Napoleons-Sebastopol will meet Darley in Ballarat Cricket Association club firsts semi finals next weekend.

The Red Caps trounced the Mounties at home, bowling them out for 47 this afternoon, but neither Brown Hill or Golden Point could manage outright wins to oust them from the top four.

Wendouree's demolition job with the ball saw it easily defend the 150 made on day one, and after enforcing the follow-on, had the Mounties 4-80 when play was called off.

Meanwhile, Darley jumped from fourth to third following its win over Coronet City, despite falling short of an outright this afternoon, while Naps-Sebas stayed in second after a narrow 14-run victory against North Ballarat.

Elsewhere, the Pointies declared at the start of day two, but could not dismiss East Ballarat a second time, with the Hawks ending on 9-210 at stumps. Brown Hill passed Ballarat-Redan's total of 193 with six wickets in hand, but did not attempt an outright result.

Wendouree will take on Mt Clear at Eastern Oval on Saturday and Sunday next weekend, while Naps-Sebas and Darley will battle it out at Wendouree.
