DYNAMIC centre-courter Gina McCartin will make her Victorian Netball League championship debut tomorrow night.
UB Pride confirmed the selection this afternoon ahead of its clash against Geelong Falcons at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Melbourne.
Pride spokesman Jordan O'Keefe said McCartin's tenacity and agility would add bite to the mid-court.
The 20-year-old made her VNL debut aged 16 in Pride's 19/unders, which she captained for three years before her senior promotion last season.
McCartin said she enjoyed her first taste of championship netball in the pre-season - but tomorrow night would be a whole new level.
"It won't be a complete shock, but it will still be different playing for points against championship teams, who are playing for points," McCartin said.
