Danny Roche, who played in the Bulldogs’ 1949 and 1950 premierships, will be among the oldest in attendance at the Eastern Oval.
This is the first East Ballarat reunion taking in the whole club’s history since it merged with Golden Point to form East Point in 2001.
More than 250, including past players, officials and supporters, are expected to attend the event which coincides with East Point’s clash with Ballarat.
Champion St Kilda full back and captain Danny Frawley is planning to be among them.
Frawley is one of the club’s most famous exports, along with the likes of Graeme Donaldson, who captained Carlton; Paul Dodd, who played with St Kilda and wore the Big V; Tommy Simpson, who played for Richmond; and Geelong’s Sean Simpson.
Organisers are also hoping to have East Ballarat’s four Henderson Medallists – Lance Behan, Tommy Simpson, Brendan Mason and Alister Ford – at the reunion.
