WHAT'S more annoying than having your train cancelled? Having the coach that replaced it break down as well.
Several people posted photos to Twitter this afternoon showing unlucky commuters stranded by the side of the road after a coach broke down.
The coach appeared to be a replacement service for a cancelled V/Line train.
Melbourne student Rebecca Jones posted: "30 people on the side of the freeway in 30 degree heat because you can't organize (sic) a bus".
V/Line announced earlier in the day that the 1.08pm Southern Cross to Wendouree service had been cancelled at Bacchus Marsh and replaced by road coaches.
The 3pm Wendouree to Southern Cross service was also cancelled and replaced by coaches.
