NATIONAL Basketball League forward Lucas Walker has signed with the Ballarat Miners this South East Australian Basketball League season.
Walker will arrive at the Minerdome at the end of the Melbourne Tigers' season.
The Tigers are yet to cement a spot in the NBL finals.
Walker, at 203 centimetres tall, bolstered the Miners' roster in strength and experience.
Ballarat Holden Miners coach David Flint said it was exciting to secure Walker for the season.
"Lucas complements our current playing list and adds an enormous amount of versatility to the
group," said Flint.
"In my opinion, Lucas will be the best NBL player playing in the SEABL this season."
Walker averages 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 18 minutes per game this season for the Tigers and participated in the NBL's Slam Dunk Contest.
