A number of police cars were seen grouped around the corner from the Ballarat chapter’s clubhouse in Delacombe on Saturday night.
Police said they were “monitoring” the situation, as the statewide push to crack down on outlaw motorcycle gangs continues.
Operation Resound, an ongoing effort to thwart violence between gangs, was launched in response to “escalating tensions” between the Bandidos and rival gang the Hells Angels after a recent shooting in Melton.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Leonie Johnson said the anti-bikie gang Echo Taskforce was not in Ballarat at the weekend and no warrants were executed at the Bandidos’ Delacombe clubhouse.
“We’re continuing to monitor the situation,” she said.
The surveillance occurred on the same weekend as more than 100 members of The Finks outlaw motorcycle club rode into Victoria for their national run.
