A MAN is in a coma after a fight at a Humffray Street address on Sunday night.
Police say the man suffered head injuries during the fight and was taken by ambulance to the Ballarat Base Hospital in a serious condition.
Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman Gabrielle Degenhardt said paramedics got the call at 9.38pm.
The victim was placed in an induced coma but police said his condition had improved.
Detectives say the people involved in the fight were known to each other.
