Gemma Abraham found in Adelaide

MISSING Ballarat girl Gemma Abraham has been found in Adelaide.

Gemma was found safe and well about 1pm this afternoon. 

Police have issued a statement, which says she was taken to a nearby police station where she was assessed by paramedics and reunited with her family.

The 14-year-old went missing from Flemington Road, North Melbourne around 7pm Wednesday night.

It was the second time she had gone missing this month.

On March 12, police found Gemma at Mount Wallace after she had been being missing for two days.

On that occasion  the teen had been missing since leaving her Ballarat home for a walk on the morning of March 10.

She left without taking any belongings but was found uninjured.

The police air wing conducted an aerial search between Fiskville and Mount Wallace before the Ballarat Grammar student was found.

In 2009, Gemma was named Ballarat's Young Citizen of the Year. 

She has had extensive community involvement including as a competitor in the Royal South Street Competitions and is on the Ballarat Friends of Ainaro Community Committee.
