BALLARAT Miners star forward Tim Coenraad will return to Wollongong this week for advice on a broken nose he sustained in action against Geelong on Saturday night.
National Basketball League club Wollongong Hawks announced via social media this afternoon they would inspect Coenraad's nose to determine the extent of the injury.
The NBL season starts in October.
Coenraad played for the Miners in South East Australian Basketball League action at the Minerdome yesterday, wearing a homemade protective mask.
A strong outing from a heavily depleted Miners' outfit meant Coenraad was used sparingly and featured on court only in the second quarter in a 38-point win against NW Tasmania.
