TASMIN Hinchley and Natalie Cook wasted three match points to lose their second pool game in beach volleyball in the London Olympics this morning.
They lost to Austrian sisters Doris and Stefanie Schwaiger 18-21, 22-20, 15-10.
Without a win in two games, the Australians face an uphill battle to stay in medal contention.
Hinchley and Cook had three matches points in the second set against the Schwaigers.
However, the Austrians won five points in a row to level the match at one-set all and then made all the running the deciding set.
