MORE incidents of unsafe asbestos dumping linked to the roll-out of the National Broadband Network appear to have been revealed in Ballarat.
In Sebastopol, another rubbish skip has been found containing up to 60 white bags marked as containing asbestos, lying unsecured.
A source familiar with the situation said it was highly likely the bags came from the remediation of Telstra ducts and pits as part of the NBN rollout.

The owner of a Hertford Street car yard found the skip at the rear of his business, just metres from where vehicles can be inspected by customers.
He estimated the bags had been sitting there for three or four weeks.
“I’m concerned. There are lots of business close by with workers. If one of those bags breaks a strong wind will take it right through,” he said.
In a separate incident, chunks of what appeared to be broken asbestos material from a Telstra pit were found lying metres from a bus stop on Eureka Street.
"If one of those bags breaks a strong wind will take it right through."
The material was not bagged and looked to have originated from a broken pipe inside the pit.
A worker involved in the project said the material was almost definitely asbestos and could have come from one of the early crews preparing for cable to be hauled to the pit.
The latest revelations follow a string of incidents of asbestos material apparently being dumped improperly by Telstra contractors in Ballarat.
On Saturday, The Courier revealed a skip full of uncovered asbestos bags located on Melbourne Road, which WorkSafe Victoria is currently investigating.
It is believed the bags came from contractors involved in the remediation of Telstra pits to make way for the NBN roll-out.
Another alleged incident in which more than 80 truckloads of untreated asbestos-contaminated soil may have been dumped in Black Hill is also under investigation.
The two safety bodies investigating the issue, WorkSafe Victoria and Comcare, have been informed of the latest discoveries.
