Creswick has secured the state off road triathlon titles for two years.
CRESWICK will be the venue for the Victorian Off Road Triathlon Championships for the next two years.
The Triathlon Australia-sanctioned event at the Forest Resort is part of a national series, which combines a swim, a mountain bike ride and trail run.
Next year's series will feature five legs, of which four are in Queensland.
THe fourth leg in Creswick is on March 23.
The off road triathlon was contested at Creswick for the first time this year, with the course featuring a custom-built 7.5km mountain bike trail through state forest.
Forest Resort general manager Michael Daviss said today's announcement by Triathlon Australia was exciting for the resort and township of Creswick.
"We look forward to showcasing our world-class facilities and building on our growing reputation for successfully hosting large scale events," he said.
