The songstress will take to the stage in Ballarat in August to perform songs from her fourth studio album I Awake, a captivating and mystical record that enraptures the listener from its first title track to its last.
Blasko recorded the album alongside a studio orchestra, adding a powerful accompaniment to her soothing voice and making for a spine-tingling package of songs.
Blasko will return to Australia next month after spending time in Paris supporting the release of her album and performing across Europe.
Accompanied by her long-time band, the chanteuse will travel to regional Australia for an extensive tour which follows the reveal of the latest single release All Of Me, the video for which focuses on a naked Blasko and is as pure and unsettling as the song itself.
"We wanted to blur the border between the natural and the unnatural. The song itself likens falling in love to the purity of being a newborn but love is also at its best when it comes from a place of understanding and experience," Blasko said.
Sarah Blasko will perform at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts on August 1 at 8pm. Tickets cost $52.80. For more information, visit www.wcpa.com.au
