Residents are encouraged to join in and help with planting and beautification works, while enjoying a free barbecue, coffee and children’s jumping castle.
Flemings Nursery and City of Ballarat arborists will provide advice on gardens and trees.
In addition to the plantings, works include a new barbecue and shelter, seats and tables, renewal of the BMX track, removal of trees and shrubs, cleaning of the tennis courts, removal of broken cricket nets and installation of new goal posts.
City of Ballarat councillor Amy Johnson said she was looking forward to seeing a lot of Cardigan Village residents attend the event.
