Ballarat Collectables Fair 2013 on this weekend

LOOKING for a rare bargain that could add charm to your home? 

Head to the annual Ballarat Collectables Fair at the Wendouree Sports Centre today. 

A host of dealers are set to flock to the event, which showcases collectables ranging from vintage to modern. 

The standout at today’s fair is sure to be a rare collection of Matchbox die-cast toys, first released in 1953 and now regarded as valuable collectables. 

A large collection of rare banknotes and coins will also be on display. There will also be a large range of of antique ceramics, silver, linen and lace, lamps, glassware, jewellery, books and antique furniture. 

WHEN: Today, 9am - 3pm 

WHERE: Wendouree Sports Centre, Norman Street

HOW MUCH: $5
