The emcee first gained notice in his home suburb of Campbelltown as a battle emcee. After a battle with ARIA award winning pop rapper 360 went viral, new fans were won over by Kerser's rebellious ways.
Joining forces with production don Nebs, the two then injected epic club beats into a unique brand of hip hope inspired by the likes of Fabolous, The Game, 2Pac, Eminem, TI, Little Wayne and Dr. Dre.
Late last year, Kerser released his second album No Rest for the Sickest, an honest, raw and ruthless sophomore album with his notorious conviction still intact.
In the weeks surrounding the release, the record charted at number one on the national ARIA Urban charts, number one on the iTunes Hip Hop charts, and number 14 on the overall iTunes charts.
One of the most humble artists in the game, Kerser is rapidly gaining respect from media, industry peers and new fans alike. Following the success of his tour earlier this year, the infamous emcee hits the road for the second time in 2013 due to popular demand and accompanied by brother Rates and hype man Jay Dee.
He will perform at Karova Lounge on Friday. Tickets cost $20 + b/f and are available from Karova Lounge, New Generation and Oztix.
