A MOUNT Pleasant woman accused of trafficking huge amounts of heroin, made a brief appearance in court yesterday.
Zanda Green, 29, appeared via video-link in Ballarat Magistrates Court where she was charged with one count of trafficking a drug of dependence.
Green was arrested with her co-accused partner, Brett Patrick Cummins, 41, on July 30 this year when police swooped on their Sykes Avenue property after listening to phone conversations and listening device material.
Cummins is also accused of the armed robberies of Haintz Pharmacy in 2010 and the Black Hill Post Office in February this year.
Magistrate Gerard Lethbridge yesterday remanded Green to re-appear on September 25 for further mention.
A lawyer for Green said police were still trawling through listening device material to determine the portions of heroin which Green was alleged to have trafficked.
