A MELBOURNE woman charged over Wednesday’s huge cannabis bust at Alfredton made a brief appearance in court yesterday.
Sih-Yu Wu, 31, is charged with a raft of offences stemming from the bust, which saw police confiscate close to 200 cannabis plants.
The Springvale woman is charged with 10 offences, including cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis, trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis, possessing a commercial quantity of cannabis and stealing electricity.
Appearing in the Ballarat Magistrates Court, Wu made no comment as a Vietnamese translator interpreted magistrate Kay Robertson’s comments for her.
Wu is expected to make an application for bail this morning.
