THE Courier has been recognised at the prestigious Pacific Area Newspapers Publishers’ Association (PANPA) awards.
The Ballarat media business took out awards in the best advertisement/campaign promoting print in a trade publication or as an in-house ad (circulation 10,001 to 25,000) category for the ‘Power of One’ campaign and the marketing classified advertising section for ‘Rummage around the Rat’.
The Courier was also a finalist in several other categories, including Newspaper of the Year.
The awards success follows the recognition of The Courier at the Rural Press of Club of Victoria awards last month as the Media Outlet of the Year.
The Courier director of sales and publishing Jade Morrison said both award-winning campaigns had been successful in promoting community engagement with the business.
“I am incredibly proud to see The Courier receive not one, but two awards on an international scale. It is proof that we at The Courier produce campaigns at the highest level,” Ms Morrison said.
The PANPA awards showcase the best of print media companies throughout Australia, New Zealand and Pacific areas.
