CFA crews responded to a tree fire in Golden Point overnight. Members from Ballarat City Fire Brigade brought it under control quickly, but the cause is still unknown.
Yesterday, crews responded to two separate incidents of children locked in cars. The CFA were called to assist with forcefully opening the doors to free the children.
Earlier yesterday, a small grass fire threatened a fence in Delacombe, but it was quickly brought under control.
Ballarat Police say their overnight shift did not report any incidents of note, but police are still calling for witnesses to a number of burglaries and thefts which occurred in the Smythesdale area over recent days.

Vline are reporting "good service" for the Ballarat line this morning, with no disruptions listed.
Meanwhile new performance statistics for August reveal 91 per cent arrived at their destination within 6 minutes of their scheduled arrival time. This failed the required standard of 92 per cent.
SES mid west duty officer Tony Grim said there were no call-outs overnight, but he had an eye on the weather just in case.
"If it gets bad we'll probably have quite a few (call-outs)," he said.
"But we take the quiet days when we can get them."
