National Police Remembrance Day, also known as Blue Ribbon Day, will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church on Friday September 27 at 10.30am to commemorate the men and women who have died serving the community.
Mid-west region duty officer Tony Grimme said there had been no call-outs in the last 24 hours, but urged people to exercise caution.
"We would ask people to be aware of the rain and the possible storm approaching today and over the weekend, make sure not to park under the trees," he said.
