PROMISING three-year-old pacer Yankee Rockstar continued on his winning way in Ballarat last night.
Yankee Rockstar ($1.04 favourite) had little more than a track workout as he coasted to the line in the Flying Horse 3yo Pace, 1710m.
He drew away from a brave Ideal Majority by almost 10m, but the most significant aspect of the outing was the ease with which he rated 1:56.2 – running his last 800m in 56.1 seconds.

Group 1-winning mare Hexham Heartbeat ($1.20 favourite) made a winning return in the Choice Hotels C1 Pace, 2200m, and Hes Kinky ($1.90 favourite) scored with Stanley in the PETstock C3-C4 Pace, 2200m.
Hes Kinky has now on six of past eight starts, while Hexham Heartbeat moved within $6000 of $100,000 in career earnings.
