Sunbury blew away North Ballarat City in the Ballarat Football Netball League A grade netball grand final, winning 58 to 32.
North City had no answers for towering Sunbury shooter Sophie Gunn or the pressure of defenders Rebecca Anstey and Rebecca Moffatt.
Sunbury jumped out to an early lead through Gunn's accuracy and were never headed, despite North City swinging the changes at half time, replacing shooter Jordyn Bibby, who wasn't expected to play with a knee injury, with under 18.5 and state player Kayla Mallett.
However, Sunbury just put its foot to the floor and powered away in the final quarter, running rampant all over the court.
Gina McCartin was outstanding for North City in goal attack but poor passing often let North's attack end down.
Sunbury coach Kim Bailey said she didn't expect the win to be so easy.
"I still didn't feel like it was an easy win. We had to fight hard for our victory," Bailey said.
North City coach Annie McCartin said the whole year had been like a fairytale after taking over the coaching helm at the start of the season.
"We knew we had our work cut out today ...but next year we'll be there," McCartin said.
