BALLARAT will hear sounds spanning generations when senior citizens choir Golden Voices take the stage later this month.
As part of the third annual Ages on Stages concert, Golden Voices will be joined in performance by St Thomas More Primary School and others.
They will perform in two shows on October 13 at Ballarat Senior Citizens Club and October 17 at Lederman Hall.
Both events will be compared by Graeme Vendy, with Noel Craven conducting and Jane Nice the accompanist.
As well as entertainment including classic songs What a Wonderful World and Singing in the Rain, there will also be raffle tickets and door prizes.
Mr Craven said Golden Voices were celebrating the 12th anniversary as the official choir of the Ballarat Senior Citizens Club.
The group performs at nursing homes regularly to ensure it can remain self-sufficient, with the October events its major fundraiser.
“It’s a good event. We have a ball,” he said.
