CFA are investigating a fire which gutted a mobile home in Wendouree yesterday.
Duty officer Alfred Mason said the CFA was called to the scene at 6.18pm to find the Marigold Street unit well alight.
"Three appliances from Wendouree and Ballarat City Fire Brigade attended the scene," Mr Mason said.
"It took them 15 minutes to bring the fire under control and a bit of time after that to completely extinguish it and stop it from spreading to neighbouring properties."
Mr Mason said the cause of the fire remained unknown. "We are investigating it," he said. "The house was completely destroyed but no injuries have been reported."
A CFA spokeswoman said the person who called the emergency number could hear smoke alarm operating inside the single-story house.
