Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. Take one down, pass it around...
By the time you read this, there will be less than 99 days until the next Ballarat Beer Festival to be held on January 18 next year.
This year’s event attracted thousands of beer lovers to City Oval, with a top line-up of brewers and cider makers sure to bring people back for the next instalment.
Moo Brew, Kooinda and Little Creatures will all be returning for the event, as will the top-shelf food and entertainment, this time from bandwagons.
Ballarat Beer Festival co-director Kate Burrows said the organisers were catering for an even bigger crowd than this year’s record turnout.
“We were really happy with the way this year ran, we want to make next year even better,” she said.
As well as entertainment for the adults, there will also be a dedicated kids zone to keep the little ones occupied.
Ms Burrows said one of the best parts of this year’s event was the people it drew into Ballarat.
“The buzz around the lead-up is exciting, people really do embrace it and do get behind it and that’s what makes it such an amazing event,” she said.
