REPRESENTATIVES from schools around Ballarat will travel to China this weekend for an eight-day educational trip.
Four Delacombe Primary pupils, one Dana Street pupil and one Mount Clear College student will travel overseas, along with teachers and family members.
Delacombe Primary School principal Nadia Bettio said the trip would involve visiting their sister schools in Nanjing.
“We hope to make it a two-yearly event,” she said.
Grade six pupil Riley Bain said it would be his first overseas trip.
“I’m really looking forward to going to the Great Wall of China and seeing the Temple of Heaven – I’ve done some research on them,” he said.
“It’s going to be interesting to visit the school and interact with Chinese students.”
