DELA Assuntas and Brown Hill Blaze have jumped away from the rest of the pack in the Ballarat Netball Association premier league, The Athlete’s Foot Cup.
Each had resounding wins in round 11 on Tuesday night.
Eureka Kellies had an opportunity to close the gap on second-placed Blaze.
However, Brown Hill proved too good, winning by 12 goals and skipping away to a 12-premiership point break away from Eureka, which remains in third place.
Dela continued on its winning way against Sturt Diamonds in a game of contrasting halves.
Sturt stayed in the hunt early with Amanda Guthrie and Emma Simpson intercepting regularly in defence.
Assuntas found their rhythm in the second half with the centre court of Cassie Hobbs, Lauren Atkinson and Brianna Elliott.
