THE Bureau of Meteorology has warned of damaging winds gusting up to 100km/h across parts of Victoria on Thursday.
The warning is for parts of the south west, central, west and south Gippsland forecast districts, with damaging winds around 60km/h, gusting up to 90 to 100km/h.
An earlier severe weather warning for parts of the north central, north east and east Gippsland forecast districts has been cancelled.
The SES advises residents should:
Move vehicles under cover or away from trees
Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard or balcony
Keep clear of fallen power lines
Don't drive, walk or ride through flood water
Keep clear of creeks and storm drains
