DO YOU feel like getting lost in a world of make-believe and wonder? Then this BLOC Music Theatre junior production is the show for you.
The junior arm of the Ballarat Light Opera Company will be holding one of three shows for the year this weekend, when it performs the famous Alice in Wonderland.
With a 55-strong cast of children aged 10 to 16, plus 30 stagehands, it is certain to be a performance not to be missed.
Director Vicki Rowe said junior productions held by BLOC was a breeding ground for the stars of the future.
“A lot of our kids can go on to become professionals, which is what makes performances like this so great.”
More than 180 children auditioned for the role, which production manager Carmel Flynn said showed how strong the performance scene was in Ballarat.
