The Morshead Park clubrooms have been demolished to make way for the $5.3 million Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility.
A bulldozer ripped the old clubrooms apart piece by piece on Thursday, reducing them to a pile of rubble.
It comes after the Ballarat City Council announced a tender for completion of the main pavilion would close this week.
Once finished, the facility will hold 1500 spectators and boast an international standard pitch, ready to host major regional and state competitions.
The project will be finalised by March in order for Ballarat to be considered as a training host for a nation during the 2015 Asian Cup.
The new pavilion building, which already includes six change rooms and canteen facilities, will also feature an upstairs function room.
