Renegades captain Aaron Finch and legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan are amongst the Renegades' stars that will lead the charge, with the highlight of the three-day visit being Sunday's two practice matches at Eastern Oval.
Ballarat's Matt Short will also be involved in the camp, with the East Ballarat and St Patrick's College export named as a Renegades development rookie last month.
The Renegades will arrive in Ballarat on Friday for school clinics, stay Saturday for an open training session at Eastern Oval before Sunday's double-header against the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy teams, starting at 11.30am and 3.30pm.
This trip follows the successful Victorian Premier Cricket "bush bash" round in Ballarat last weekend, where St Kilda, Dandenong and Greenvale Kangaroos did battle at Eastern Oval on Saturday.
CRICKET LEGEND TO SPEAK IN BALLARAT
Australian Test great Greg Chappell is the headline act for this week's eighth annual Ballarat-Redan Cricket Club Lunch with a Legend.
Chappell is guest speaker at the club event, which is at Miners Tavern in Lydiard Street, from noon to 4pm, on Friday.
