Face painting, motorbike rides, a jumping castle and Santa on a fire truck were all on the bill for the Very Special Kids Christmas Party.
Hosted by the Wendouree Fire Brigade, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Ballarat, the party saw more than 50 children and their families attend.
Very Special Kids Ballarat support team member Marianne Collins said the party was a chance for families in similar situations to come together and show their support.
“It really was a lovely day for all involved,” Ms Collins said. “Everyone was just delighted to see the smiles on the kids’ faces.”
