*TENNIS Victoria will today launch the 2014 inter-regional country championships at Creswick's Mt Prospect lawn complex.
The venue will host next year's titles - held between January 3-5 - and is expected to attract some 250 players from around the state.
It will be the 58th staging of the championships and the first held in the Central Highlands region for more than 35 years.
The event will cap a big few weeks for tennis in the region, with the Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre to host the Ballarat Open Gold AMT Tournament between December 19-22.
