GOOD Friday action will make its return next season with the Ballarat Football League to release its draft fixture for 2014 on Monday.
League operations manager Aaron Nunn told The Courier reigning premiers North Ballarat City are set to to host Bacchus Marsh at Eureka Stadium on Friday, April 18.
"Both clubs wanted to play that weekend. They asked for it and we gave it to them," Nunn said.
This will be the league's first Good Friday fixture since 2011 when three senior matches were played.
The Central Highlands Football League has continued with its holiday tradition and will not play on the Easter weekend.
BFL's new fixture will also feature two Anzac Day clashes.
Ballarat will host East Point and Darley will welcome Bacchus Marsh on Friday, April 25.
