Led by Matthew and Kim Tol and including names such as Victoria Armstrong, David Haymes, Belinda Walton, Clare McConchie and Richard and Lisa Hayden, the letter is an open invitation to a special fundraiser for Aron Siermans, whose mother Sharon was bludgeoned to death in her home earlier this year, only metres from where her then four-year-old son slept.
The cocktail party and auction will be held at the Ballaarat Mechanics’ Institute in Sturt Street on February 22 next year “to raise funds for Aron so that he can live out the dreams and hopes Sharon had for him.”
Anyone wanting to offer support for the fundraiser can contact The Courier at andrew.ramadge@fairfaxmedia.com.au
