The bulk of our sports are on a festive hiatus.
Ballarat Cricket Association polished off its pre-Christmas rounds on Saturday - and the BCA club firsts ladder remains really tight - Ballarat lawn bowlers have rolled away their mats and formal golf and tennis competition has eased off.
A Welsh club team Neath will hit the field for a friendly against Mt Clear today.
