Then there is the consistent XAVIER in the Penshurst Cup, 2000m.
Xavier is knocking on the door after a fifth in the Avoca Cup, second in the Mortlake Cup, third in the Dunkeld Cup and fourth in the Traralgon Cup in his latest four starts.
BURRUMBEET CUP
THE countdown to the Scott Petroleum Burrumbeet Cup on New Year’s Day is well and truly on.
Nominations close on Friday, with weights declared on the same day.
Fields for the seven-event program will be finalised on Monday.
In a busy week at the track, there will also be jump-outs at Burrumbeet on Friday, January 3.
