Mother Carrie-Ann and daughter Riley, 8, have been to all of the Museum of Australian Democracy (M.A.D.E) programs since they began last May.
“They’re really good because the programs are different and educational,” Ms Batson said.
“They’re not too long and parents can sit in on the activities as well.”
Ms Batson said while there were lots of things to do in Ballarat, most school holiday activities were expensive.
Museum of Australian Democracy (M.A.D.E) education co-ordinator Jessica Gorlin said she tried to make the school holiday programs fun, but educational.
“The staff here come from a teaching background, so we’re getting the kids to think about national ideas in a fun way,” Ms Gorlin said.
