The SES responded to nine callouts in the Ballarat region on Saturday and Sunday, with most of those for trees down.
Statewide, SES regional duty officer Kendra Clegg said there were 495 callouts for trees down and 160 relating to building damage.
"Most of those were in Melbourne and Gippsland," she said. "We fared pretty well here in Ballarat."
High winds were recorded across Ballarat yesterday afternoon, with wind gusts hovering around 70 km/h.
